The Directions EMEA 2017 conference will give Microsoft Dynamics partners a comprehensive insight into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business edition apps this October.

Traditionally, Directions EMEA has been dedicated to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, but recent changes within the Microsoft Dynamics product family has prompted the conference to expand its content to cover Microsoft Dynamics CRM (customer relationship management) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business edition apps for Financials, Sales and Marketing too.

The cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business edition apps have been developed based on the concepts of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. Dynamics 365 Business edition for Financials has been available in Europe since May, whereas Dynamics 365 Business edition for Salas and Marketing will be released for preview in July. Attendees of Directions EMEA will be one of the first to get an in-depth insight into the solutions.

During Directions EMEA 2017, independent software vendors will be able to demonstrate their readiness for Dynamics 365 and share their experience. The conference will also provide a chance to gain a better understanding of Microsoft’s strategy for its Cloud Solution Provider programme, and learn how to use new developments tools to create apps and extensions for Dynamics 365 Business edition and Dynamics NAV.

“As an event organised for partners by partners, the primary objective of Directions EMEA has always been to support the community of Microsoft Dynamics partners in their growth by ensuring access to the latest and first-hand knowledge from the Microsoft team and experts,” said Christian Sega, president of the Directions EMEA Board. “This year is a big step for us. To meet the changing needs of partner companies, we decided to align the content of the conference with Microsoft’s product integration strategy. We hope that by inviting not only NAV but also CRM, Office 365 and new Microsoft Dynamics 365 partners to one venue, Direction EMEA 2017 will trigger more active collaboration within the whole Microsoft Dynamics community.”

To be held from 4-6 October in Madrid, Spain, Directions EMEA will be attended by more than 2,200 attendees who will be able to participate in more than 160 sessions and 40 workshops. These will be delivered by 150 speakers including experts, and representatives from Microsoft and its partners. Keynotes will be given by Paul White, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics, and Marko Perisic, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics SMB.

Directions EMEA also provides a platform for more than 60 independent software vendors and partner service providers to showcase their solutions.
