Mencap has selected 3EX.NET software by Exact Abacus to power its online purchasing system.

The Web-based and intuitive purchasing interface will be integrated with a back-office suite that includes: stock control, drop-ship management, sales order processing and financials, creating a seamless supply chain for capital equipment and consumables across the charity's sites in the UK.

“We see a Web-based, user-driven purchasing and supply solution as a real leap forward that will enable us to provide a seamless, transparent and best-cost service to our stakeholders,” said Mencap purchasing manager, Steven Harrington. “Exact Abacus share our vision and the 3EX.NET software meets all the charity's selection criteria in terms of: functionality, technology, cost of ownership and return-on-investment."
