3M faster with HP solution

3M has selected HP Neoview to provide a comprehensive view of historical and real-time information for faster decision making.

Neoview will enable integration and analysis of 3M's financial data, including the company's general ledger, so that 3M can react in near real time to everyday opportunities and threats. "We are looking for a new level of price/performance to help grow our business through enhanced business intelligence solutions," said Peter Godfrey global information technology infrastructure director at 3M. "As a long-time data warehouse user, we are excited to get the new Neoview platform in house and to prove its capabilities."

The HP Neoview data warehouse platform integrates hardware, software and services to provide a comprehensive view of essential business information, such as metrics on product sales, customer trends, production and operational effectiveness.
