Aia and TCP partner for success
10 August 2009
Aia Software is to integrate its ITP Document Platform with TCP’s Copernicus SS/G modular suite of software. The resulting solutions will be aimed chiefly at the life, health and pensions insurance industry.
Copernicus SS/G enables insurance companies to select best of breed components for their business, allowing them to react rapidly to market change by configuring the products accordingly. Integrating the ITP Document Platform into SS/G – TCP’s ‘Self Serve’ Generation system – will provide faster implementations and access to a predefined set of templates.
“TCP has an excellent reputation in the market for developing solutions that use the latest Internet technology,” said Christoffel Klimbie, sales director at Aia Software. “This partnership will enable their customers to take advantage of ITP’s advanced document composition functionality, which empowers business users to take greater control of their documents using the familiar Microsoft Word environment to edit and adapt templates and documents. This is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to a mutually prosperous working relationship.”
We recognised the benefits of partnering with a specialist in this area rather than trying to develop our own system
Matthew Clark, TCP LifeSystems “We wanted to add document generation to our range of SS/G offerings in the life, health and pensions insurance industry,” said Matthew Clark, managing director of TCP LifeSystems. “There is a good fit between our respective platforms from a technology perspective as ITP also puts business users in control and allows them to self-serve, a key feature of SS/G. We recognised the benefits of partnering with a specialist in this area rather than trying to develop our own system. The ITP platform is now our preferred solution for document composition, which allows us to concentrate on developing our core product.”
“An added benefit of working with TCP is that, like us they are a Microsoft Gold Certified partner,” concluded Klimbie. “This ensured the integration between the two systems was completed in a matter of days allowing each company to focus on raising awareness and generating sales opportunities, which is the key ingredient in making any partnership work.”
