The Associated Press (AP) wanted to explore new market opportunities by encouraging external developers and organisations to incorporate AP content into their applications.
To help with this effort, the AP decided to run its Breaking News API on the Microsoft Windows Azure platform. The global news agency uses the cloud computing platform for new business opportunities.
