BT introduces hosted Lync voice pilot

BT has developed an enterprise-class platform to host Microsoft Lync voice pilots for its US-centric customers in the company’s Texas operations centre.
The communications company unveiled the shared pilot platform at the Microsoft 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles in July.

Jason Cook, BT Global Services Each pilot instance can support up to 250 users, and offers features including instant messaging, presence, audio/web/video conferencing, and voice capabilities.
