C2C, a provider of data, file and e-mail management solutions, has extended its Archive One suite to Microsoft SharePoint.

Archive One for SharePoint provides automated data management to assist in compliance, legal discovery and storage capacity management. The new edition also offers customers the benefits of removing and archiving SharePoint data to reduce cost, improve performance, optimise capacity usage, and improve backup on primary storage devices.

“C2C can be counted on to leverage their expertise, and the highly extensible architecture of the Archive One product suite, to help address these issues for SharePoint environments,” said Brian Babineau, a senior analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. “More importantly, C2C delivers archiving and management across all enterprise data types including files, e-mails and now SharePoint, which allows companies to build a system of record that can be used for compliance and discovery purposes and helps control storage costs. These benefits will be welcomed in today’s difficult economic climate.”
