UK sports product specialist Coachwise has selected Maginus to design and build four new Web sites with an emphasis on improving customer service, fulfilment and marketing, as well as providing a high level of security.

Coachwise is a specialist publisher, mail order catalogue and online retailer of sports books, DVDs, training tools and sports related software. The company will use Maginus eCommerce to provide a single, integrated back office solution that will enable Coachwise’s main Web site, www.1st4sport.com, and its other eCommerce sites for the Rugby Football Union, Football Association and England Netball Association to trade through a secure Payment Credit Industry (PCI) compliant system.

Maginus eCommerce is based on Microsoft’s .NET and SQL Server 2008 database and architecture. It will offer Coachwise customers tracking on all orders through integration with Parcelforce, as well as extended product information such as expert reviews, customer reviews and exclusive discounts for sports association members.
