Conchango extends DCP reach

Conchango has announced a two-year partnership with Danish IT services company Mondo to resell its digital commerce platform (DCP) in Denmark.

The collaboration gives Microsoft Gold Partner Mondo exclusive rights to sell the next generation Web 2.0 platform to Danish retailers. The partnership is a response to increasing demand among Mondo’s client base for a scalable and proven retail e-commerce solution.

Sitting on Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, the DCP rewards and referral functions give retailers ready access to information on emerging social shopping trends. The platform also features a powerful search tool, and other out of the box features such as ‘product recommendations’, ‘now in stock notifications’, ‘one click purchasing’ and ‘save for later basket’.

“Retailers’ websites are becoming more sophisticated, online product catalogues are growing and consumers are expecting products to be available the minute they hear about them and available across multiple channels,” explained Chris Saul, director at Conchango. “That is why having a website that allows them to get that product online in hours rather than days is indispensable to their business. The partnership with Mondo allows us to reach Danish retailers with this robust e-commerce platform.”

“Mondo has been working with large clients like Danish Supermarket and Copenhagen Airport on the Microsoft ecommerce platform,” said Lars Munch Johansen, VP of sales and marketing at Mondo. “We meet a growing demand from the market for in-depth knowledge in vertical solutions. Partnering with Conchango as retail specialists and with their DCP solution we have found a partner to fulfil the needs for the retail market in Denmark.”
