Control for multi-channel businesses

Maginus, a UK-based provider of software and services for retail and distribution, has introduced Multi Channel Commerce (MCC) solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX, to provide management systems that will boost productivity for companies that trade across multiple channels.
MCC, for which Maginus has exclusive rights in the UK, gives companies comprehensive control over multi-channel sales, fulfilment and service. This allows companies to market, sell and deliver products and services to customers via retail outlets, the Web, catalogue and mail order, telesales, trade counter and field sales. The solution has been developed by TVH Consulting in France, where retailers are already enjoying the benefits.
Maginus launched MCC in response to the fact that multi-channel companies are generally forced to use different solutions for each channel they trade through, which can result in higher operational costs, a lack of customer focus and inefficiencies in the supply chain. As such, MCC will be fully integrated with Microsoft Point-of-Sale (POS) 2009, but it also has the flexibility to integrate with a retailer’s existing POS solution.
