Derdack completes nx beta programme
1 July 2009
Derdack has completed the beta programme for its message master nx mobile solution. The product complements the existent message master xsp and is designed to help operators consolidate, optimise and better manage existing messaging services.
Vodafone Iceland, an existing customer of Derdack’s message master xsp system was one of the companies that adopted the nx beta programme. “The message master nx solution represents a hugely impressive innovation – a product that has been designed for the operators by people who really understand our needs,” said Jóhann Vilhjálmsson, manager of application services at Vodafone Iceland. “It can be deployed quickly, the user provisioning is excellent and we liked the drag and drop service creation tools.
“It will undoubtly enable us to reduce the time required to build a new application or service by 80 per cent. Additionally the reporting capabilities were extremely powerful, yet like the software itself, it was intuitive and easy to use. We look forward to the official release of message master nx.”
Our vision was to create a service delivery platform that would enable operators to break free of the limitations imposed by existing mobile messaging systems
Matthes Derdack, Derdack The message master nx solution was developed for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and is optimised for SQL Server 2008. It is built on .NET and Windows Workflow Foundation, while the user interface requires Internet Explorer 7 or 8.
“Our vision was to create a service delivery platform that would enable operators to break free of the limitations imposed by existing mobile messaging systems,” said Matthes Derdack, managing director of Derdack. “We particularly wanted to enable VAS engineers to design services using simple but powerful drag and drop tools without needing external development capabilities thus speeding up innovation and customization of SMS and MMS value-added services. A substantial amount of R&D has gone into message master nx and the beta programme confirmed both the business model and concept are solving a real need for the operators.”
