DocuWare gets behind Windows 7

DocuWare has verified the compatibility of its document management system (DMS) with Windows 7, meaning full compatibility for any users upgrading from Microsoft Vista or XP.

According to a study published by the International Data Corporation in July, by the end of 2010 it is projected that approximately 177 million Windows 7 licenses will be purchased. DocuWare’s core market is smaller and mid-sized companies, so compatibility with Windows 7 is a core focus for the accessibility of its DMS offering.

DocuWare describes this focus as an effort to remain at the forefront of new technology, by constantly and broadly testing its DMS on the basis of various Microsoft platforms, such as Windows Server, SQL Server, Office and SharePoint.
