European launch for Cincom Acquire

Quote-to-order software specialist Cincom Systems has launched the first European release of its new selling and business acquisition software, Cincom Acquire. Cincom says its new product is the only end-to-end sales and business acquisition solution for companies that sell complex products and services.
The solution provides additional capability such as guided selling, channel and distributor collaboration, sales and product configuration, quotation and proposal management, project and bid management, contract and order management, which complements traditional CRM and ERP systems.
Built on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server architecture, Cincom Acquire automates collaborative selling processes. Product management, engineering and marketing divisions can now align their information and processes to directly support the sales cycle – which Cincom claims will help eliminate errors and reduce proposal lead times. Cincom Acquire is closely integrated with commonly used Microsoft desktop applications.
Cincom says that Acquire’s core components have already assisted manufacturers selling complex engineer-to-order or configure-to-order products successfully by streamlining their sales, design and proposal processes and reducing ‘inquiry to cash’ time.
