Ex-Arte joins Ascentn OEM programme

Business process solutions specialist Ex-Arte has become the latest member of Ascentn’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) programme.

Ex-Arte focuses on delivering solutions to optimise business processes. Its PPM.NET paperless process management product suite offers a comprehensive document and business process management solution that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Dynamics AX/NAV line-of-business applications.

“We’re often involved in enabling processes where it can be difficult to make the exact sequence of work explicit,” said Jos Mertens, business development manager for Ex-Arte. “This requires a versatile process engine that caters for dynamic changees of context in real time. We’ve found ourselves ‘hands tied’ once too often due to workflow engines that support a more classic structured automation philosophy. Both vision and architecture align particularly well with Ascentn, as we share a strong belief that our customers should be able to leverage Microsoft’s ongoing investment and support in technologies such as Dynamics, SharePoint, Windows Workflow Foundation and BizTalk.”

For Ascentn, the combination of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and AX with AgilePoint opens up new opportunities in small and medium-sized businesses, based on the experience of Ex-Arte.

“We are very pleased to have an OEM partner like Ex-Arte,” said Hans Hantson, business development manager for Ascentn EMEA. “Like us, the company is focused on making its customers more productive by streamlining the business and increasing the underlying process quality. The AgilePoint BPMS suite brings a lot of value to many of our customers in allowing them to streamline their business processes. It is based on the latest .NET technology and therefore integrates particularly well with PPM.NET.”
