Deutsche Bank and Infusion Development, an US-based software company, have developed special bank advisory software using Microsoft Surface. The solution is being showcased at the ‘Q110 – Deutsche Bank of the future’ branch in Berlin and is designed to help the financial advisor deliver an interactive, more accessible customer experience. “Transparency in the advisory service, the documentation of the needs analysis and reasons for recommendations are very important to Deutsche Bank,” said Hans Kraus, of Deutsche Bank’s private and business clients division. “From determining the client’s needs to explaining our recommendations, contents are presented more clearly and are easier to understand, especially when it comes to complex matters.” “Infusion’s expertise lies in the development and design of exceptional technology solutions that differentiate brands around the world,” said Kevin Lasitz, vice president of global business development at Infusion. “In cooperation with Deutsche Bank we created a custom Surface application for their Q110 – Deutsche Bank of the future branch. This further solidifies Deutsche Bank’s commitment to the client experience and utilises smart technology to support the quality of their financial advice.” “Microsoft Surface is an excellent example of how innovative technology and intelligently designed applications can efficiently facilitate the dialogue between clients and advisors,” said Martin Setzer, responsible for IT in the private and business clients division at Deutsche Bank. “We will be inviting visitors to Q110 to experience this new form of advisory service over the months to come.” The Deutsche Bank of the Future presents a variety of special offers and services under the motto: ‘A different banking experience’. It is set up at the Investment and Finance centre in Berlin’s Friedrichstraße. Along with financial offerings, the setup also features a food and beverages lounge, meeting rooms, a small specialist retail outlet and a crèche. The idea is to make the customer feel relaxed and to encourage an informal atmosphere. You can see a video demonstration of a similar branch application Infusion developed for Barclays Bank on the company’s YouTube channel.
