First SCADA Windows 8 app launched

InduSoft has launched the first SCADA/HMI app designed specifically for Windows 8 and Windows RT.

The InduSoft Visualization App was created specifically for the Windows 8 app store, offers mobile access to InduSoft Web Studio application on Windows 8 devices and allows users to view alarms, alarm history, process values, trends, and historical data.

"Microsoft app developers have always provided rich software experiences and value for our shared customers," said John Richards, Senior Director, Windows Business Development. "Windows 8 offers a no-compromise experience across PCs, laptops, and tablets, enabling our app developers to deliver innovative software."

InduSoft provides a family of industrial software products for developing applications in industrial automation, instrumentation, and embedded systems for all Microsoft-supported operating systems.
