Fresh start for Evrotek
24 June 2008
The Evrotek Group has opened the first four of 50 new Fresh stores in the Ukraine, using LS Retail NAV, implemented by Impact-Soft.
Evrotek is developing two types of store, department stores called Fresh Market, and smaller Fresh-Express supermarkets. Both store formats focus on a high level of internal organisation and customer service, with offers for customers changing weekly.
“One of the principal reasons for choosing LS Retail was the fact that the functionality in this system fulfils all the needs of our network and also offers an opportunity for further development,” said Alexey Diomidov, IT director at Evrotek. “The available functionality demands minimal customisation, which ensures fast start-up. The flexibility of the system allows an easy adaptation to changing market conditions and changes in legislation.”
The implemented LS Retail system is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and includes POS-terminals in all opened shops, which link directly to head office. The structure of the IT system is homogeneous, so that all modules of LS Retail are fine tuned for each workstation in each store, making the implementation of new stores very simple.
The LS Retail system also calculates the price of the goods on the basis of various parameters set up according to various criteria, such as the floor price of the supplier, profit margin and the floor price of competitors. This allows automatic calculation, correction and entering of the prepared prices into the system. It is also possible to estimate calculation irregularities from the expected price.
In all the shops, special information centres have been established for answering customer queries, including consultation on goods and prices, return and exchange of the goods and delivery of documents. Besides this the customers can obtain information on each item in the store at information booths that are integrated with LS Retail.
Over the coming months, Evrotek plans to introduce delivery planning, functionality for clearing settlement and payment by bankcards, a loyalty scheme and the introduction of CRM-modules.
