10 June 2009
Fujitsu Technology Solutions is one of the first manufacturers to be awarded the TCO certification for high performance and green design.
We are proud to be one of the first manufacturers worldwide to meet the most stringent standard for displays with its products
Niels Keunecke, Fujitsu The ‘TCO Displays 5.0 certified’ status, from the international IT certification organisation TCO Development, applies to the new Fujitsu Display P22W-5 ECO IPS. Fujitsu is one of only five manufacturers worldwide to awarded the stringent label for one of its products as early as the first phase of its lifespan. The seal is a combination of the most demanding requirements made of environmentally conscious features with user friendliness and performance.
“We are proud to be one of the first manufacturers worldwide to meet the most stringent standard for displays with its products,” said Niels Keunecke, senior director of PCs and displays at Fujitsu. “Technologies like the patent-pending zero-watt standby or ECO mode have enabled us to set the standard in the display segment when it comes to environmental compatibility and energy efficiency. At the same time, the TCO certificate is confirmation that the investment in green technologies need not be at the expense of performance – far from it, with features such as the ultra-wide viewing angle or height adjustment, which allows the picture to be lowered to a mere 55 millimetres above the desktop, the Fujitsu Display P22W-5 ECO IPS meets the most exacting demands made of ergonomics and performance.”
