Infusion adds HPC competency
18 May 2010
Infusion Development has entered into a strategic relationship with Microsoft’s High Performance Computing (HPC) group.
Infusion is committed to developing solutions for the financial services industry and supporting Microsoft’s vision of making supercomputing broadly available and accessible.
This high performance computing relationship with Microsoft ensures that Infusion continues to grow and develop new business opportunities with customers where expert system integration services are required. This programme also strengthens and deepens business development in existing accounts by providing a new product line offering and ensures increased business opportunities for Infusion’s infrastructure practice overall.
“Our plan is to cultivate and grow our Windows HPC Server practice and expertise in this competency,” said Stephen Ellis, vice president, global strategic initiatives, Infusion Development. “Expanding our infrastructure practice better positions us to grow accounts, develop new business relationships, and continually adds value to our existing service offerings.”
“Infusion’s deep software development and training expertise will help customers in financial services and government take full advantage of Windows HPC Server 2008, including new capabilities that bring supercomputing power to Excel 2010,” said Vince Mendillo, senior director, Microsoft High Performance Computing Group.
As part of announcing this relationship, Infusion will begin conducting Discovery Workshops in North America, Canada and the UK. These Discovery Workshops are centred on HPC services for Excel 2010 and targeted towards financial services customers.
