Laing O'Rourke consolidates processes

Laing O’Rourke, the largest privately owned construction solutions provider in the UK, has selected Tagetik to streamline its consolidation process.

“This project confirms that Tagetik is growing its business internationally and further expanding its market-share within both large privately owned and publicly listed corporations,” said Manuel Vellutini, chief operating officer at Tagetik.

In other Tagetik news, Sprecher Automation, a provider of turnkey and partial solutions, has selected Tagetik distributor pmOne to implement a new solution for consolidation, budgeting and cash flow planning.

The Tagetik platform will replace multiple spreadsheets for the Austrian energy stations and automation technology expert.

“It was crucial to introduce a unified software solution like Tagetik 4.0 that could enable consolidation of group financial results; budgeting and planning; and long-, medium-, and short-term cash flow and liquidity planning for both group-wide and down to each legal entity in a single application,” said Helmut Schabetsberger, managing director at Sprecher Automation. “No other vendor could meet all of our requirements in a single solution.”

“Once again the Tagetik software solution has been selected because of its ease of use, robust product functionality, and comprehensive scope of performance management processes within a single application that spans financial consolidation, governance, risk and compliance, budgeting, and financial planning,” said Hannes Wambach, managing director, a growing business intelligence provider in Central Europe. “Tagetik’s unified approach allows both large and medium-sized businesses to significantly improve the way they manage and control financial performance processes,”

Tagetik has also expanded its operations with the opening of a new division in Australia.

Industry veteran Geoff Noble will head the new operation based in Sydney and will be responsible for the development of the Tagetik brand, products and partnerships within the Australian market.

“Australia is a very mature market for corporate performance management software with highly sophisticated needs,” said Noble. “Customers are ready for a new generation product and we chose Tagetik for its exciting vision, strong unified product and a reputation for high customer satisfaction.”
