Microsoft opens fourth retail store

Young fans check out the latest computers at the new Microsoft Store in San Diego

Microsoft COO Kevin Turner was in San Diego last week to open the company's fourth retail store, and its second store in California. At the opening celebration at Fashion Valley shopping centre in San Diego, Turner presented donations to local charities to kick off the store's ongoing commitment to the local community.

This is the second store Microsoft has opened in a matter of weeks, with the outlet in Lone Tree, Colorado opening for business on 10 June.

Microsoft now has stores in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mission Viejo, California, Lone Tree, Colorado, and San Diego, California.

Customers will have access to computers and software, games, music and phones. The store also offers services such as personal training, technical support and ongoing performance tuneups. Microsoft has also revamped its online store
