New Cegid cloud solution launched

Cegid, an international enterprise management and vertical software vendor specialising in merchandise management and point of sale solutions (POS) for speciality retailers, has launched its new retail management solution, Yourcegid Retail. The solution is now available on-demand via the cloud and will be showcased at National Retail Federation (NRF) 2013 in January.
Cegid claims the all-inclusive, subscription-based software-as-a-service package will allow retailers to quickly adopt retail IT best-practices and processes without the need for large upfront IT investment costs that are typically associated with some IT implementations today. This means the solution is suited to many small to medium sized retailers, who are looking for advanced functionality, but simply can’t afford to dedicate a lot of time and resources on continual maintenance and upgrades.

The Yourcegid Retail web-based solution includes a range of tools to assist with POS, merchandise and inventory management, customer loyalty, business reporting and analytics.
Cegid will be showcasing its range of omni-channel and mobile POS solutions at NRF 2013 that run on multiple devices, including tablets and smart phones, which are increasingly being used for processing transactions, or checking for inventory across multiple channels.
RFID and materials tracking partner, Tagsys RFID, will also be on the Cegid booth to show other emerging technologies in retail today.
Cegid will be on booth 2533 at NRF 2013.
