Nintex has launched its partner programme initiatives for the African continent at the Microsoft Partner Summit, which is currently taking place in Sun City, South Africa. The programme helps SharePoint consulting companies realise the benefits of the product and allows them to spend less time offering work-for-hire coding and much more time doing higher-value trusted advisor work. Danie Gordon, information worker product manager at Microsoft South Africa, said: “Nintex is globally recognised for its automation software for SharePoint, and been quietly active locally for some time. It’s great to see the company establishing a formal local presence, and we look forward to working more closely with the company and its local partners going forward.” Ray Meiring, managing director for relate technologies, a Nintex South Africa partner, said: “In early 2008 relate technologies recognised the value that the company’s suite of products could add to both our services offerings and to our SharePoint customers. Since signing up as a partner, we have been able to deliver a number of SharePoint solutions, using Nintex products, to customers in South Africa. Our customers have been impressed by the rapid and consistent delivery that the company’s products have enabled on these projects. "In addition, having these products in our product portfolio has allowed us to introduce our services offerings to a larger range of diverse customers hence expanding our pipeline of work. We have further benefited by being awarded spin-off SharePoint projects at the customers where these products have been implemented.”
