Noble Foods has chosen Anglia Business Solutions’ LINKFresh suite to manage the movement of 60 million eggs per week.

Based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, LINKFresh has been designed especially for the food manufacturing and distribution industry. Noble - which is the UK's largest supplier of eggs - will use the system to replace its existing Ross Systems solution, managing all of its supply chain activities at its various UK subsidiaries. The solution is due to go live in March 2009.

A combination of LINKFresh core functionality and state-of-the-art integrated mobility technology will be used to provide real-time access to product information dynamically as it moves through the entire supply chain. The solution will also include an interface with Noble’s Moba egg grading equipment to collect grading, packaging and traceability data.

The food industry functionality incorporated in the LINKFresh suite highlighted Anglia’s expertise in dealing with the supply of fresh produce to our key customers – the supermarkets. This, together with Anglia’s proven track record, was a key differentiator in our selection process.”
