Paragon Solutions, a business consulting and information technology services firm, has launched solutions that optimise clinical operations incorporating the NextDocs product suite. The clinical solutions deploy low-risk, accelerated solutions for life sciences built on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

The partnership between NextDocs and Paragon is a prime example of how Microsoft’s partner ecosystem can provide life sciences organisations with domain expertise and ready to deploy solutions.

The solutions leverage a strategic partnership formed by the companies in September 2009. One of the solutions the companies are introducing as part of the clinical optimisation solution portfolio is an integrated investigator portal. The portal is designed to deliver a collaborative environment that enables clinical sponsors and investigators to: negotiate contracts; define and communicating protocols; support site monitoring; manage grants; work with partners; and improve oversight and planning.
