Visa and MasterCard will benefit from the Handpoint solution

Mobile retail solutions provider, Handpoint, is to develop and sell a pan-European POS solution for the Fujitsu B-Pad mobile computer.

The solution is designed to provide secure card authorisation and EFT settlement for Visa, MasterCard credit and debit in 43 European countries. It is the first Microsoft Windows all-in-one mobile device to be awarded PCI compliance.

The solution is comprised of Handpoint ’s Mobile POS and HeadStart applications running on the B-Pad mobile device from Fujitsu. It is integrated with the PCI-DSS-compliant EMBOSS card payments service from YESpay International and processed through the Acquirer Valitor in Iceland.
