Preactor advances in Germany

Specialist planning and scheduling software company Preactor International, has expanded its operations in Germany by forging a strategic alliance with advenco Consulting. This continues Preactor’s growth within mainland Europe following the launch of Preactor Europe in 2008 adding to the 2,500 companies in 65 countries that already use Preactor.

The partnership with advenco Consulting adds to the growing list of companies working with Preactor including ATS Pro, Esla and Kratzer. With approximately 30 employees covering all of Europe, advenco Consulting is an expert in production management as well as production optimisation. The company provides a comprehensive range of services specialising in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and business intelligence (BI), primarily to the chemical and food industry but also within the mining and crude oil sectors. Reference sites include Alcan, Kraft Foods, Unilever, Daimler Chrysler and Clariant.

By combining the established core competencies of MES and BI with Preactor’s Microsoft-based APS benefits, advenco will be able to provide customised planning and scheduling solutions to large- and medium-sized European companies.
