Priva sows success with Anglia

Anglia Business Solutions has formed a strategic alliance with Netherlands-based greenhouse manufacturer, Priva. The company is a global leader in process automation and climate control for greenhouse horticulture.

The alliance will see the equal exchange of technology between the two companies, with the aim of providing customers with end-to-end business intelligence, from the grower through to the supermarket. Anglia will interface its LinkFresh business management solution with Priva’s Fusion – a management information system for the horticultural sector.

“We has been looking to extend our offering for a number of years to enable us to further enhance our services to clients,” said Priva’s UK director, Chris Addis. “We are seeing many of our client’s businesses expanding rapidly, and supermarkets are now looking to these growers to supply directly. However, many growers are unable to provide the required level of product traceability once the crops leave the greenhouse.

“Our research has indicated the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Certified LinkFresh business management solution from Anglia as being best-of-breed and way ahead of its rivals in terms of flexibility and functionality,” Addis concluded. “Together Priva and Anglia can provide our clients with a total business management and product traceability solution, as required by the industry today.”

“We are naturally delighted to be working with the leading climate control business in the world,” said Anglia’s commercial director, Robert Frost. “We have already found that we have mutual customers and there are significant synergies between our organisations. The Priva climate control and management information technologies for the greenhouse are the ideal extension to our LinkFresh suite, enabling us to provide a truly end-to-end solution from seed to supermarket.”
