Quantix has launched a suite of services to support Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

Microsoft has recognised Quantix as one of only 20 UK-based companies capable of working on SQL Server 2008, which includes new and updated features such as Reporting Services, Analysis Service, Data Mining and Integration Services. These are reflected in the Quantix service portfolio, which embraces all the new features with services including a Readiness Review, migration and upgrade options.

The Quantix SQL Server 2008 Readiness Review measures current systems against a pre-determined set of parameters such as performance, existing applications to ensure that businesses and organisations are ready to migrate or upgrade to SQL Server 2008. It ensures that table design and T-SQL design are compatible, and addresses security and licensing issues such as database ownership, object ownership, identifying the correct SQL Server versions and an effective licensing model to suit individual business requirements.

The service portfolio also encompasses business intelligence services to reflect improvements and advancements made. Quantix offers an advanced SQL Server Analysis Service, a SQL Server Integration Service and a specialist SQL Server Reporting Service designed to support a wide variety of reporting demands such as managed enterprise, ad-hoc reporting, embedded reporting and Web-based reporting.
