Salmon achieves Microsoft Gold status

Global systems integrator Salmon has been awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status. The company is particularly focused on security, service oriented architecture and Information Worker solution areas.

Chief marketing officer Chris Hoskin said: “In retail we believe Microsoft-based solutions can help businesses appeal to more customers while cutting costs and enhancing operations. In insurance we are already helping businesses increase revenue by improving customer satisfaction and employee productivity while reducing overall operational costs.”

The company established its Microsoft practice in October 2007. Andrew Smith, who heads the practice, says: “There is strong demand for an innovative systems integrator with a deep understanding of the Microsoft technology portfolio and experience of delivering enterprise solutions. Salmon’s pedigree in areas such as eCommerce, portals, content management, enterprise application integration and business process integration, and our commitment to Microsoft, represents a winning combination for businesses in retail, insurance and finance.”

As well as developing enterprise class solutions, Salmon offers a range of application management and support services.
