The vehicle for success

Jaama's system provides iFleet with complete vehicle funding and lifecycle vehicle management data

Newly-launched commercial vehicle fleet management specialist iFleet has chosen Jaama’s Key2 Internet-based software system to manage its operations.

The Luton-based company has a strategy to have in excess of 4,000 vehicles ranging from light commercial vehicles to heavy goods vehicles on its books within four years. Jaama’s Key2 Vehicle Management system will be at the heart of its business plans.

“We wanted fleet management software that had a strong bias towards both light and heavy commercial vehicles along with the ability for the software workflow to be adapted to our method of working without major reworks,” said iFleet managing director Tim Davies. “Therefore, we looked for a Web-based solution with very strong work and vehicle event management and workflow capability.”

Jaama’s Key2 Vehicle Management system, developed using the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0, provides iFleet with complete vehicle funding and lifecycle vehicle management data. The two companies are currently working together to enhance Key2’s commercial vehicle quotation tool and workshop authorisation module.

Jaama has shown a willingness to understand our software requirements and recognise the long term benefits of developing software in partnership with strategic customers

Tim Davies, iFleet

“Jaama has shown a willingness to understand our software requirements and recognise the long term benefits of developing software in partnership with strategic customers,” Davies continued. “The software will be at the core of the new products and services that iFleet is launching and will bring a new approach to managing commercial vehicle fleets.”
