UK discount retailer Cash Generator has implemented SecureTrading’s Payment Pages solution to bring its online payment processing under one roof and help increase the selling power of franchisees. Dan McGrath, financial controller, Cash Generator, said: “When we took the decision to launch our new website we wanted to give our franchise network the ability to sell their products over the internet to customers. This has a key role to play in the future growth of our business. In 2011 internet sales will account for more than 20 per cent of our total turnover, while our site sees around 6,000 daily visitors and the average order value for each customer is around £75.” Tim Allitt, head of sales and marketing, SecureTrading, said: “Businesses that operate a franchisee model can compete with far larger organisations with the adoption of the Xpay model, allowing businesses to integrate a payment solution into back-office or legacy systems.” The retail payments solution will help support the company’s growth plans as it looks to open 50 new stores in 2011 and introduce PayPal as a payment option. SecureTrading’s Payment Pages solution integrates with the Microsoft Commerce trading platform, the bespoke EPOS solution and merchant accounts across the franchise network.
