Westgate galloping with 3EX.NET
16 September 2008
We are confident that the 3EX.NET system will transform our business almost overnight
Daimien McConnell, financial director at Westgate EFI UK equestrian product distributor, Westgate EFI, has implemented 3EX.NET enterprise software from Exact Abacus.
The Microsoft-based application will be hosted at Westgate’s site in Romney Marsh, Kent, and rolled out across the entire business to handle activity including: marketing, supply chain, forecasting, customer relationship management, sales order processing and stock control.
Westgate is seeking specifically to benefit from the enhanced inventory planning and warehouse management functions 3EX.NET mobile technologies features. “The key package requirement was an application that could handle our complex product range and enable the efficient management of our stockholdings,” said Daimien McConnell, financial director at Westgate EFI. “The sheer velocity of activity demanded a mobile solution and we are confident that the 3EX.NET system will transform our business almost overnight.”
3EX.NET’s subscription only model has low initial setup costs, enabling Westgate to plan a long term IT investment strategy. “Like most distribution companies, we prefer to put our capital into marketing, stock and tangible assets,” said McConnell. “Therefore 3EX.NET licensing terms are very attractive, as we are able to take advantage of the technology in the knowledge that monthly costs are manageable and linked to business growth.”
The implementation of 3EX.NET at Westgate EFI is scheduled for completion by the end of December 2008.
