Wonderware Scandinavia, a wholly owned distributor within Invensys Operations Management, has been appointed a network partner by Preactor International, a specialist planning and scheduling software company.

Wonderware Scandinavia will help continue and extend Preactor’s growth in Denmark, Sweden and Norway by providing the complete range of Wonderware manufacturing execution systems and enterprise manufacturing intelligence software solutions embedded with Preactor technology.

“We are really excited about our partnership with Preactor,” said Christopher Ashworth, managing director for Wonderware Scandinavia. “They provide a proven complementary APS solution for our customers and our collaboration has led to the development of Preactor’s APS module, which is basically a bolt-on solution to Wonderware MES software solutions.”

Last year, the two companies cemented their alliance with the integration of the Preactor Finite Capacity Scheduling module in the Wonderware Operations systems. They were also jointly selected by Chr. Hansen, a leading Danish biotech and food ingredient supplier, to provide Wonderware MES and EMI software for global deployment.
